Futsal commences in Horsham
Rio McKenzie, a futsal-mad fan, has brought the game to Horsham, holding their first-ever skills and come and try a session on Saturday, July 27 at Horsham Primary School.

Rio comes from Melbourne and was actively involved in the sport as a player and coach. He has coached for eight years through programs like Caulfield Grammar, South Melbourne, and Bentleigh Greens.
"I saw the game wasn't here, so I thought to myself, why not start one," Kumar said.
"Long term, I would love to get a competition where we have teams playing against each other week in and week out and building it.
"Down the track, I want to send teams to the Nationals and Melbourne to represent the region. We have a lot of skillful players here, and they need a pathway, and I aim to provide that."
Rio says it's a perfect sport for anyone of any age or ability to play.
"It's perfect in the sense that you don't need great fitness or skills, and it's a good opportunity for those who want something relaxed, casual, and easygoing where people can come and go with no locked-in commitment," Rio said.
"It's a halfway point between soccer and AFL. It's still contact, but not as physical, so I encourage anyone to come down and have a go."
