Team Fullerton also led Good Innings back to the winners’ stalls while Andrea Gurry after following a string of placings at Horsham went one step further on the road winning with Napier Bale at Warrnambool.

But it was Moonlight Grand who started the ball rolling for George at Horsham when she jumped to the front and displayed a brilliant front running display giving nothing else a chance winning by over five lengths in a brilliant 23:28sec. Alley Oop then exited the coveted red box over the 485m journey.

Alley Oop gained the upper hand by the first corner and turned for home with a break on the field, but local dog La La Rapid (Bill and Helen Hartigan, Horsham) wasn’t going down without a fight charging to the line Alley Oop just held off the fast finishing La La Rapid to win by a head in 27:49sec.

Trespassing brought up George’s final leg, stepping up to grade five for the first time, Trespassing took it all in his stride settling just behind early leader and local Hartley Bale (Andrea Gurry, Nhill), turning for home it looked as though Hartley Bale was going to hold Trespassing off but he was simply to strong and picked up Hartley Bale to go away a two length victor in a very quick 23:25sec.

George then snuck to Ballarat Sunday with Patriot Bradley, beginning just moderately Bradley was able to rail up and take the lead turning for home and then put his rivals to the sword winning by six lengths in a best of the day 25:55sec run.

Team Fullerton (Red Cliffs) broke through at Horsham with Good Innings over the 485m journey, jumping to the front it was always going to be hard for his opposition to run him down following a string of unlucky minor placings Good Innings was simply too strong for his rivals as he greeted the judge a two-length victor in a best of the day time of 27:37sec.

Andrea Gurry then hit the highway following a string of minor placings at Horsham and made the trip to Warrnambool. Gurry struck when Napier Bale jumped straight to the front and obliterated his rivals winning by five lengths in a flying 22:04sec run.
