Giving thanks
Living in a community like Rainbow, there's much to be thankful for.

Many farmers found last year's harvest was “better than expected” and say they're hopeful once again for the year ahead.
Being grateful for all the good gifts we have, each year members of Southern Mallee Co-Operative Parish in Rainbow have a service of thanksgiving for all the amazing things we have.
Starting the day with a cooked breakfast followed by a service, symbols of thanksgiving were brought along in the form of garden produce, homemade cooking and non-perishable foods.
The hospitality and generosity of the givers is reflected in funds raised and food given to be shared with others.
Approximately $500–$600 worth of groceries will be delivered to the Christian Emergency Relief Centre in Horsham for those in need, and an auction of garden produce and homemade cooking raised $375, to be donated to Uniting, Wimmera.
And in the process, a lot of fun was had by all.
