Gold coin bargains at Horsham College's Book Fair
Book lovers are set to flock to the Maroske Hall on Dimboola Road from noon on Friday, October 24, to noon on Saturday, October 25, for a cash-only sale of pre-loved books.

Thousands of pre-loved books will go on sale for just $1 each in this cash-only community event.
The fair brings together volunteers, students, and service groups in a massive team effort. Local volunteers sort and categorise donated books, Horsham College students help with setup, the Chaplaincy Committee runs the sales, and Rotary East members assist with the pack-up.
Wastebusters step in to recycle any worn-out titles, ensuring nothing goes to waste.
Funds raised from the sale directly support Horsham College’s Chaplaincy Program, led by chaplain Yolande Grosser.
The program provides valuable well-being support to students through initiatives such as the twice-weekly Brekky Hub, Faith Fans and Creative Crochet lunchtime activities, school supply assistance, and one-on-one mentoring.
Organisers encourage everyone to bring cash, carry bags, and a love of good reads for a worthy cause.
