Golden Hour Formal set to celebrate Hindmarsh youth
The Hindmarsh Shire Youth Council is preparing to bring young people together for an end-of-year celebration, hosting the ‘Golden Hour Formal’ on Friday, December 12, at the Nhill Memorial Community Centre.

The formal will run from 6.30-9pm and will celebrate a year of achievements and activities for teens across the shire.
The event invites young people to socialise, reflect on 2025, and enjoy a night filled with food, music, and fun.
Organisers have arranged delicious snacks, music to sing and dance to, and a photobooth to capture memories throughout the night.
Council will provide return buses with adult supervision from Dimboola, Rainbow and Jeparit to Nhill, ensuring safe travel for attendees.
Young people must register by 5pm on Thursday, December 11, to secure a seat on the bus.
“Join us for a fun night to celebrate everything we achieved this year, and we hope to see you there," youth councillor Eliza said.
The formal will operate as a fully supervised FReeZA event, with no pass outs and strict drug, alcohol, smoke and vape-free conditions.
It is open to young people aged 12 to 18.
Young people can register by scanning the QR code on the event material or by visiting the online form.
For more information, they can contact the community development and youth officer on (03) 5391 4444 or email youth@hindmarsh.vic.gov.au.
