Gurry continues successful run
Andrea Gurry (Nhill) is currently riding a hot streak.
Racing between Ballarat and Warrnambool Gurry has put together four victories in the past ten days, highlighted by a breathtaking 21:82sec run by Paw Lampades at Ballarat over the 390m journey.
On January 23, Paw Lampades was simply stunning at Ballarat winning in a flying 21:82sec, leading all the way and winning by seven lengths, Lektra Roger made it a kennel quinella running home well into second position.
Gurry then headed to Warrnambool on January 26 and led in a winning double with Street Sixty Six and Paw Linden.
Street Sixty Six was away midfield and posted wide throughout the run, straightening for home Street Sixty Six was looming large and he showed his quality swooping down the outside winning comfortably in 22:50sec.
Paw Linden was also away moderately but was able to muster around the outside of the field and take over the race as the greyhounds straightened for home skipping away to a four length victory in 22:25sec.
On January 29, Paw Lampades then continued his hot run of form backing up his Ballarat win with victory at Warrnambool.
Missing the start Lampades produced a wonderful railing display to wear down the leading group claiming victory in the shadows of the post in the good time of 22:28sec.
