Hallam crowned 100 up champ
Horsham City Bowling Club has crowned Ron Hallam as its new 100 up winner.
Ron Hallam is Horsham City Bowling Club’s 100 up winner.
In competition held over the past two weeks, bowlers played the singles format with the closest bowls to the kitty scoring four, three, two or one point respectively.
The winner was first to accrue 100 points.
In the final Hallam defeated John Williams 103 points to 72.
In the semi-finals Hallam defeated Duncan Bottoms 106 to 99 points and Williams defeated Derek Ballenger 103 to 81 points.
The 100 up game brings out the best in draw bowling and enables spectators to witness some excellent bowling.
