The CFA was alerted to the fire, which occurred at a property on Brentwood West road.
According to Emergency Management Victoria, the fire was quickly under control.
An advice message was sent to locals around the area, including Beulah, Brentwood and Galaquil alerted them to the fire, as there is always the risk of haystack fires igniting grassfires.
