HDFNL round 17 teams: Close, Westley out, Rup rallies guns, Francis back
Senior football teams have been named for round 17 of the HDFNL.
Edenhope Apsley's three changes ahead of the round 17 HDFNL fixture see's Ryan Obst, Flynn Loft and Ben Campbell join the Saints' line up.
Each player has put in strong performances in 2024 and have been mentioned among the best in some games, but have made limited appearances.
Stawell's Swifts have kept things consistent as the side gets set to take on the Saints.
The Baggies have made only one change, with Seth Blake stepping up from the reserves list in place of Chris Freeman.
Harrow Balmoral will be without Michael Close when taking on Laharum.
Laharum makes five changes, headlined by the inclusions of Pat Lattanzio and Phillip Butsch.
Noradjuha Quantong will welcome back captain Wade Francis who hasn't played a game in the Bombers' senior grade since round three.
Rupanyup sees a trio of start players return to the field in Blake Turner, Brayden Ison and GWC Rebel Connor Weidemann.
Pimpinio will be without Jason Westley after he suffered a concussion against Kaniva Leeor United in round 16.
