Hindmarsh crime low overall – but rising
THERE’S good and bad news for Hindmarsh Shire residents concerning crime following the recent release of statewide figures by the Crime Statistics Agency.
Victorian crime statistics for the past 12 months to June 2026 were released last week and reveal crime and law enforcement differences between not just rural and metro areas, but between shires like Hindmarsh containing no regional centres with populations exceeding 10,000 people, and those that do.
