Hindmarsh free school holiday programs

HINDMARSH Shire Council has announced their school holiday program for June/July 2026, with a wide variety of activities for young people and families across the shire.


With everything from dancing to board games, basketball to badminton, storytime to cookie decorating, children and families have plenty to keep them occupied in the upcoming school holidays with activities in the region from Hindmarsh Shire Council. The free school holiday program features something for everyone, including creative workshops like Make Your Own Shrinky Dink, Cookie Decorating with Tegan, and Get Creative with Turbo Gallery, as well as opportunities to get active with a Basketball Clinic, Badminton Clinic, and a Multi-Sports Day.

There’s also Dance with Katherine Fraser, a more relaxed experience with Board Games and Puzzles, a Minions and Monsters movie screening at the Nhill Cinema, and NAIDOC week storytime sessions in all Hindmarsh libraries.

These activities are supported by the State Government, Engage! Funding and Hindmarsh Shire Libraries.

Families are encouraged to register early online at bit.ly/4v1IGgd to avoid missing out on any of the activities.

Children under 11 years of age are required to have parent/guardian supervision.
