Hiscock out as Rupanyup coach
After she led Rupanyup to its first ever A grade netball premiership in 2025, the club has parted ways with coach Georgia Hiscock ahead of the 2026 season.

Although Hiscock was originally signed on to lead Rupanyup’s side again this year, club president Ray Kingston said that a mutual decision was made between her and the club.
“Georgia had intended to give the Panthers one more season but due to a range of recent circumstances surrounding player availability it has become clear that our A grade team is going to be looking to our young talent and entering a rebuild phase in 2026, and after much discussion, goodwill and mutual respect, both parties have decided the time is right for us to look to our respective futures,” Kingston said.
Kingston thanked Hiscock for the impact she had had on the club, with whom she has been since the 2023 season.
“We thank Georgia for her contributions to the club: her leadership, her hard work and professionalism, her love for the club and the aspiration provided to our juniors,” Kingston said.
“We’d like to think that wherever she plays and whatever she achieves in her netball career in the future, part of Georgia will always be a Panther.”
Hiscock’s departure from Rupanyup comes as Ilze Van Zyl, awarded best on court for Rupanyup in the 2025 grand final win over Edenhope Apsley, was recently signed by Laharum for the 2026 season.
A player on the rise, Van Zyl is one of the most promising young netballers in the region after reaching Netball Victoria’s under 17s top 50 squad last year, and was recently selected in the Bendigo Strikers Emerging Team for 2026.
