Historical recognition of local chemists and pharmacists
WHEN pharmacist Des Lardner was selling the Dimboola Pharmacy in 2019, he aimed to compile a list of all the chemists and pharmacists who had operated in Dimboola before him, just as he had done when leaving his business in Murtoa.
Placing the historic sign on the pharmacy façade is Rodney Lehmann, standing with current owner, Phuong Tu; dispensary technician, Tammy Brown – who has worked at the pharmacy for 36 years and three of the owners – and Des Lardner, who owned the pharmacy for 19 years before Phuong.
