Hope for a great turnout at hospital staff reunion
All previous and present staff of the Dimboola Hospital are being invited to a reunion on Saturday October 26.
So far, there will be a chance to do some sightseeing around the town in the morning, taking in the many new specialty stores, and enjoy a cuppa and a chat while catching up with past workmates.
Organisers are in the process of organising tours of the current hospital grounds for the afternoon, before everybody gathers at the Dimboola Rowing Clubrooms from 3pm.
Bring a plate of nibbles to share, and something to contribute to the evening meal.
We will also be asking for a donation to help cover the costs of the event.
The kitchen facilities will be available to heat and store food, the bar will be open, and tea and coffee will be available too.
The cabins in the caravan park have been reserved for Friday and Saturday nights, October 25 and 26, for those attending.
When booking, please mention that you are attending the Dimboola Hospital Reunion.
It is a two-night minimum stay, and the price will be quoted when booking.
Other accommodation available in the area include four bed & breakfasts, the Dimboola Imaginarium, which has five rooms available, Whispering Pines on Horseshoe Bend Road, the Victoria Hotel, and Dimboola Motel.
Remember to bring any memorabilia and photos that you would like to share, and share this information with anyone you think might be interested in attending.
