What have we been doing since our last report? Our annual retreat was held in June.

This year it was in Ararat. Thank you to Pam Clugston and Lynne Gould for their organisation.

As usual, everyone had a special couple of days away from home.

Three people (who have admitted it) were so eager to get home that they each received a letter in the mail a few days later.

The government black hole is now not so black.

A few new quilts have been made.

Some have been donated to our aged care facility, and there are some in the cupboard ready to be delivered to other charities.

Recently, Wal Ferguson (one of our members) led a class on machine-embroidered faces.

Wal is fairly new to using the sewing machine and has discovered a new talent. Some interesting pieces are being developed.

Our next class will be bag making with Marge Poulton in September.
