Horsham arrests follow fatal Norlane stabbing
Two people were arrested in Horsham this morning in relation to a fatal stabbing in Norlane.
The arrests follow an altercation between three men and two women outside a residence on Alkira Avenue at about 12.40pm on Sunday, June 21.
A 30-year-old Norlane man sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
A 28-year-old Norlane woman was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
A 28-year-old Corio woman and a 34-year-old Norlane man were arrested shortly before 5am in Horsham.
A 38-year-old Lovely Banks man was taken into custody yesterday evening.
All three will now be interviewed by detectives from the Homicide Squad.
The investigation remains ongoing.

Arrested made
On Friday, June 12, Horsham Crime Investigation Unit detectives executed a search warrant at a Horsham address and located two imitation firearms.
A man in his 30s was interviewed and is expected to be summoned to court at a later date.
On Sunday, June 14, Horsham Police arrested a male in relation to a spate of Theft from Motor Vehicles, Theft of Motor Vehicles, Burglaries, Deceptions, Criminal Damages and Assaults.
The 27-year-old Horsham man has been remanded in custody to appear at the Horsham Magistrate’s Court later this year.

Police are investigating an alleged assault which occurred at a football match in Ararat on June 13.
Investigators were told several people were involved in an altercation at Alexandra Oval around 4pm.
Police attended and spoke to several witnesses, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
