Horsham College book fair returns
Horsham College’s chaplaincy committee is putting the final touches on its second book fair for 2026, with the fundraiser kicking off on Friday, October 23, from 12pm.

Chaplain Yolande Grosser said Maroske Hall on Dimboola Road would be crammed full of pre-loved books after an overwhelming number of community donations.
“The Chaplaincy Committee are pleased to offer shoppers a choice of more than 10,000 novels and a similar number of reference books, children’s books and magazines,” she said.
Mrs Grosser said with books priced from just $1, the hunt for bargains and elusive classic cookbooks is a common pursuit.
“Old hands know to bring a shopping trolley on wheels and all the cash and coin they can get their hands on,” she said.
Open from 12-9pm on Friday, the fair resumes operations the following morning from 9am for just three hours.
“All monies raised are used to cover the cost of providing a chaplain to Horsham College who supplies meals and uniforms to students, organises special events and is available for one-on-one support for the one thousand teenagers on site,” Mrs Grosser said.
