Horsham Probus Club ladies in Rainbow
More than 40 people from the Ladies Probus Club of Horsham East and their friends went on the Pella tour in Rainbow on Wednesday, June 18.

The group, travelled from Horshm in a bus, had lunch in the Supper Rooms on the main street, visited the Yurunga Homestead Museum, and then headed to their final destination of Pella.
The group of 43 people included a couple from Natimuk, as well as a few former residents of Rainbow.
Probus Club’s trip committee head and the organiser of the tour, Joy Smith, said the group had a great time on every stop of the trip.
“We had 43 people come with us and a lot hadn’t been to the Pella church and hadn’t seen the organ played,” she said.
“They just loved to hear the organ and everyone seemed to enjoy the time."
“Peter Solly gave a lovely talk on History and everyone loved everything about it."
The Ladies Probus Club of Horsham East organises its social tours and events every month.
The group explored Federal Street in Rainbow for some time after lunch, and a few members also did some shopping.
Tour coordinator Mal Drendel from Rainbow said the group was excited when I played the organ in Pella.
“The ladies really enjoyed it,” he said.
“The response of the group was amazing, and the ladies sent a lot of positive feedback."
“The highlight of the day was the group hearing the organ.”
Mr Drendel said the day went very well in engaging with the group.
“They loved the museum too,” he said.
“Job’s well done, as long as everyone’s happy."
“It was a good afternoon.”
Mrs Smith said their club is all about funds, friends and fellowship, and they welcome new members to join in.
