Horsham to host Victorian motocross titles
Round three of the Peter Stevens senior Victorian motocross titles will take place this Saturday and Sunday at the Horsham motocross track at Dooen Recreational Reserve.

This weekend’s Horsham round will see top riders from both Victoria and interstate compete across the various competition classifications.
2024 MX1 state champion Bryce Ognesis will compete as he looks to win the round in his quest to defend his MX1 championship, the premier class of the titles.
Also headlining the event is Madi Healey, who just days ago was crowned Queen of the Desert for the second straight year in the Finke Desert Race in Alice Springs.
Horsham Motorcycle Club’s president Jason Thomas is excited by the opportunity it brings for the region.
“It's pretty big in that it brings in a lot of competitive riders from all over Victoria and beyond,” Thomas said.
“It’s great for the Wimmera.”
The event will include various classifications of riders and bikes throughout the two days.
Ladies, veterans, all-power bikes and under 14 to under 18 MX3 riders will compete throughout Saturday.
Sunday will see MX1 and MX2 riders take the track.
Kenny Watts, the Horsham Motorcycle Cub secretary, says the event will bring in over 160 competitors from around the nation.
“As well as Victoria, we will have racers from South Australia, New South Wales and Tasmania,” Watts said.
Another notable competitor will be Vas Radulovic, the former president of the Horsham club.
Radulovic was an integral part of the construction of the club rooms and the racetrack back in 2000, and will return to Horsham to compete in the veterans competition of the state titles.
The event is free entry, with gates opening from 6am on both days.
Following round three at Horsham, the senior titles will conclude at Cobram for round four.
