Hot action for winter season
A beautiful autumn day was enjoyed by the 22 women who participated in our 4BBB stableford event, generously sponsored by Julie Bayles.

The winners of the day were Diane Roberts and Julie Koschitzke with 44 stableford points on a count back from Kerry Oulton and Isobel Davison, leaving these ladies as Runners up for the day.
The Warrack Hot Bread fifth nearest the pin was won by Julie Bayles, whilst the Power and Bennett seventh NTP was won by Janice Midgley. The Rural Northwest Health 13th NTP was taken home by the inform octogenarian Shirley Liersch. The Sue Krause third shot on the ninth went to the big hitting Casey Phelan.
The Shirley Liersch nine in was won by Beth Preston and Shirley Liersch with 21 points.
The Warrack Dental Clinic nine out was won by Cindy Marsh & Sue Krause with 23 points, on a count back from Venita Walder and Carolyn Morcom.
Next Wednesday’s event will be stroke and the Grandmothers Event to be sponsored by Ian and Jill Bibby.

Kaye Picken won Saturday’s womens stableford event with a fantastic 38 Points.
The winner of the raffle was a very happy Ruby, Kaye Picken’s grand daughter. The spinning wheel will recommence in the next couple of weeks.

On April 3, 20 women played in Winter opening day and our first Feet First Footwear monthly medal event for the season on Wednesday, whilst the weather conditions remained warm, it was manageable.
The winner of the Monthly Medal was Beth Preston from Division Two with an amazing score of 90-27-63 nett. The winner of the other division was Wendy Hewitt from Division One with 85-13-72 nett, playing to her handicap. Runners up for the day from Division One was Cindy Marsh with 96-20–76.
The Division Two runners up was the birthday girl who celebrated a special milestone, Shirley Liersch with 93-24-69, another great score on the day.
Judi Armstrong won the Warrack Hot Bread fifth and the Power and Bennett seventh NTP with some very accurate shots. Kerry Oulton took home the Rural Northwest Health 13th NTP with one beautiful shot. The very consistent Leonie Atkin won the Sue Krause third shot on the ninth.
In Division One, the Kaye Picken putting was won by Janice Midgley with 28 putts, a great effort.
Beth Preston cleaned up the Division 2 section with 26 putts, another sensational effort.
The Warracknabeal Dental Clinic nine out was won by Marlene Naylor with a brilliant 22 stableford points.
The Shirley Liersch nine in was won by Carolyn Morcom with 16 points.
The birthday girl Shirley Liersch had a good day winning the spinning wheel as well. Mary Massey won the newly sponsored ‘The Local 165’ voucher in our raffle.
Saturday Stableford event was one by Sue Krause with 35 Stableford points.
