From 9am until 1pm, visitors browsed through tables of homemade goods, jams and preserves, plants and more.

All funds raised at the pop-up garage sale will get put back into the community later in the year.

President Mandy Myers said they were extremely happy with how the day turned out.

"It was quite successful for our first attempt," she said.

"We had about 50 people come through."

Reviewing some feedback received from those who attended, Ms Myers said people expected more.

"People came in asking where our scones and Devonshire tea were," she said.

"Next time we will have a cuppa and biscuit available for a gold coin donation."

Ms Myers also said at their next garage sale they will aim to have more craft, plants and books.

Dimboola CWA ladies hope they can turn the event into a monthly affair.

"It would be good if we could do it at the same time as the market," Ms Myers said.
