Information sought on Buangor fatality
Victoria Police's Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for dashcam footage or witness account of the fatal collision on the Western Highway outside of Dimboola on March 3.

The news comes after a second person died in hospital.
Police allege a Toyota Hilux towing a hay bailer and a Mazda sedan collided on the Western Highway about 5pm.
The driver of the Mazda, an 80-year-old Nhill woman, died at the scene.
Her passenger, an 85-year-old Nhill man, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries; however, he died on Monday, March 10.

Meanwhile, detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Buangor on Saturday, March 8.
It is understood two vehicles collided on the Western Highway outside of Ararat at about 5.10pm.
An 81-year-old woman from the Ararat area died at the scene, while the driver of the second vehicle, believed to be a Horsham man, was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or with dashcam footage hsould contact Crime Stoppers.
To date, 61 people have lost their lives on Victorian roads in 2025, compared to 58 at the same time last year.
Unfortunately, two people died during the March long weekend holidays, with the second being a single-car collision in Buffalo River.
The Victoria Police-led Operation Arid saw more than 69,000 preliminary breath tests conducted during the four-day blitz, with one in every 455 drivers tested caught drink-driving.
Another 197 drivers returned a positive roadside drug test.
Statewide, 4952 offences were detected during Operation Arid, including 2330 speeding offences, 173 unlicenced drivers, 133 disqualified/suspended drivers and 470 unregistered vehicles.
