Jeparit games day delivers fun and friendly competition
Jeparit Oval came alive with energy on April 15 as community members gathered for a well-attended 'Games Day', hosted as part of the Hindmarsh Shire Council's school holiday program.

Participants competed in footy, frisbee, tag and other games, enjoying both individual and team games for a chance to win chocolate Easter eggs and lollies.
Hindmarsh Shire Council mayor Ron Ismay praised the program’s growing success.
"The Hindmarsh Shire school holiday program continues to grow from strength to strength, which is a testament to the amount of hard work that staff put in to create the activities and events," he said.
"The variety of activities ensures that there is something for everyone, which is another reason why the program is so successful."
The Games Day is one of many activities offered to keep young people engaged and active during the school break, reinforcing the community’s commitment to providing inclusive and enjoyable holiday experiences.
