Johns wins Brim championship
Big-hitting Paul Johns has won his seventh Brim Golf Club championship from Rod Gardam by two strokes over three rounds, which he completed last week.

This week's round had other golfers completing their third round in which Col Appledore became the club handicap champion by two strokes from an unlucky Gardam.
Gardam had the best round of the championships but failed to keep the great form over his next two rounds.
Captain Gardam did, however, win the stroke event on a countback from Phillip Gibson.
Johns got the nearest the pin on 2/11 O’Connor hole and 5/14 Browns Gypsum hole, those two being by far his best shots for the day as he nearly managed to score a total he would have loved to have had while playing cricket in his younger days.
