Karkarooc map receives life
Ever wondered what the Shire of Karkarooc looked like in the 1890s? Hopetoun & District Historical Society aims to put an end to the speculation when it unveils a newly restored map of the shire and its schools on Sunday April 13.
Karkarooc Memorial Hall in Hopetoun is a reminder of the former shire.
