Kids "glow crazy" for disco

Warracknabeal Band and Scout Hall overflowed with disco fever on June 26, hosting a glow-in-the-dark school disco.

The event was organised by the Warracknabeal Primary School Parents' Club as a fundraiser, and many students from the local kindergarten and both primary schools partied the evening away.

The disco was open to all children aged between Kinder and Year 6 for a gold coin donation, with two sessions being held on the evening - one for Kinder to Year 3 kids, and a second for Year 4 to Year 6.

The party featured a funky range of activities and games included hip beats and dancing, a bodacious bubble machine, tenpin "glow" bowling, glow-in-the-dark face painting, the limbo, and plenty of laughs in the photo booth.
