Kinder kids' special visit
Last week, the Hopetoun kindergarten celebrated Book Week with a very special visit from the students of St Joseph’s Primary School.
The theme for Book Week this year was 'Reading is Magic', and the day was filled with joy, storytelling, and a love of books.
The older students joined the kindergarten children for shared reading time, bringing along some of their favourite picture books.
It was wonderful to see the older children reading aloud and the younger ones listening with such excitement.
Some of the kindergarten children even shared their books and told stories back to their new friends.
The visit was a great opportunity for the children to build friendships across schools and to celebrate the importance of reading together.
The room was full of laughter, imagination, and a sense of community as children of all ages connected through books.
The kindergarten would like to thank the students and teachers from St Joseph’s School for visiting during Book Week and helping to make it such a memorable experience for the kindergarten children.
