Kokedamas: Messy and green holiday activity

The Rainbow Supper Room was a mess of green as local kids created their own Kokedamas on Thursday, July 11.

Rainbow locals Gemma, MJ, Will, Louis, Tyler and Odin with Michelle Danisch of Desert Blooms Nursery during the winter school holiday activity, 'Making your own Kokedama'.

The activity was part of the Hindmarsh Shire Council's Winter School Holiday Program, where the teacher and the owner of Desert Blooms Nursery, Michelle Danisch, helped and guided the kids in making Kokedamas.

The Council staff also assisted the participants and Ms Danisch, who came from Dimboola for the activity session.

Some parents also accompanied their children to the Supper Room.
