Sue Russell and Marie Klemm have celebrated significant milestones, with Ms Russell dedicating 18 years to the committee and Ms Klemm commencing her 20th year.

Ms Russell moved to Warracknabeal around 30 years ago after living in Brim and on a farm in Wilkur.

In 2007, she was invited by Lorral Schulz to join the Ladies Restrooms committee.

"It has been very enjoyable and interesting," Ms Russell said.

"The ladies have been lovely since I joined."

Since then, she has held many roles within the committee, including Public Relations in 2009, secretary from 2012 to 2015 and assistant secretary from 2015 to 2021.

She has also locked up the facility and helped with community events and fundraising.

"It's a lovely place, and trying to keep it as it was back then," Ms Russell said.

Ms Klemm, originally from Rainbow, moved to Warracknabeal in 2003.

She and her husband travelled around in a caravan towards Queensland, six years before settling in town.

Her daughter Jodie bought a house in town where she has lived ever since.

Like Ms Russell, Ms Klemm said her elderly neighbour, Dolly Carter, invited her along to a meeting of the Ladies Restrooms in 2005.

Ms Klemm said she hasn't held any important committee roles but has helped conduct raffles and manning the table during Easter time.

"It's been great," she said.

"I like the old time stuff."
