Rupanyup will aim for three wins in a row against Taylors Lake on Saturday.

The Lakers enter the clash looking for their first win since round eight, but will have the home-ground advantage.

After a difficult middle portion of the season, Rupanyup have registered two wins in a row, with their 86-61 victory over Natimuk in round 15 arguably their best performance of 2025.

With those wins elevating the Panthers to seventh on the ladder, they will go in as favourites for Saturday.

But Taylor's Lake will fancy their chances, knowing nothing separated the sides in their 84-84 draw in round six.

Adding some extra belief to the Lakers will be the fact that they pushed Pimpinio in an 88-80 loss to the top three side in their July clash.

Stuart Hall, president of Taylors Lake, says the Lakers' final two games against Rupanyup and Natimuk United present a chance for the team to finish the season well.

“We're serious about winning the last two games and finishing on a high," Hall said.

"The players have embraced the interim coach, and there's been a resolve within the playing group."
