Life in all its fulness opening night
Visual Art is the focus of the latest exhibition held at the Hopetoun Powerhouse Arts Studio, with the Southern Mallee Cooperative Parish Churches’ Art Exhibition.
Visual Art is the focus of the latest exhibition held at the Hopetoun Powerhouse Arts Studio, with the Southern Mallee Cooperative Parish Churches’ Art Exhibition.
With the theme “Life In All Its Fullness,” thirty-four artists showed their work.
The quality and variety of media included photography, paintings, textile art, handcrafted wood items, metal sculpture, and more.
Opening Night on Friday, September 18, was officially opened by Yarriambiack Shire Council mayor Andrew McLean.
A good crowd gathered to listen to the guest artist, Pam Clugston, speak about her work and inspiration, which included thirty pieces, from paintings to fabric baskets, patchwork, wire sculpture, fibreglass art and more.
The community is encouraged to take up the opportunity to view visual art from Artists from Melbourne to Mildura and, of course, locally at Hopetoun and Rainbow.
This is the fourth annual exhibition where art is brought to the country, and people don’t have to travel to appreciate such talent.
The exhibition closes at 4pm on Thursday, September 24.
