Lions to host community meeting
The Dimboola Lions Club is hosting a community meeting on Wednesday, September 10, at 6pm at the Dimboola RSL to gather community thoughts about the future ownership of the Tower Park site.
The Dimboola Lions Club will be hosting a community meeting tonight at the Dimboola RSL regarding the future of Tower Park.
Community members are encouraged to attend and bring ideas for a positive outcome for this important asset.
The purpose of the meeting is to look forward, not backward, to ensure that the site has a future in the community's hands.
Discussions will include questions such as, what does community ownership look like?, how do we ensure a positive future with decreasing numbers of volunteers?, what do we already have to put towards that ownership?, and what is the way forward?
