Local steps up to judge
A lucky Dimboola local has taken on the task of being a judge for Wimmera Steampunk Festival's best costume competition, alongside Annie Lee from The Kranksy Sisters.

Originally milliner Neil Grigg had the job, but due to unforeseen circumstances he couldn't retain the role.
That's when Pauline Thomson was approached by festival organiser Chan Uoy, who offered her the position.
"I am so excited to do this," Ms Thomson said.
"It's a privilege to judge alongside a Kranksy Sister."
Ms Thomson was lucky enough to create the stylish Steampunk hats seen in the official photoshoot at Serviceton Station.
"It's like making a movie," she said.
She worked alongside the costume designer from Horsham, where they co-ordinated outfits and colours together.
"It was so much fun," she said.
Being a long-time fan of The Kranksy Sisters, Ms Thomson said she was a little starstruck to work alongside Annie Lee.
"I'm such huge fan of The Kranksy Sisters," she said.
"I'm really looking forward to it."
Through her hat business, Hats by Pollyanna, she has created a variety of steampunk hats to sell.
The Forbidden Forest, located on Lloyd Street, stocks her hats as an additional purchase point.
Ms Thomson advised those wanting to purchase a hat from her to "order quickly" before they're all gone.
The only piece of advice to those wanting to take home the festival's 'Best Costume' award is to "make it your own".
"Steampunk is such a broad thing and it can be anything," Ms Thomson said.
"Your imagination is the limit.
"There are no rules – you can put your own spin on it."
