Longerenong College celebrates 2024 graduation

Longerenong Agricultural College celebrated the graduation of its Class of 2024 on Friday, March 21, at the Horsham Town Hall.

Students, families, dignitaries, and industry leaders from across Australia gathered to honour the achievements of 80 graduates who have completed qualifications across various agricultural disciplines.

Graduates received certifications in the Advanced Diploma of Agribusiness Management, Diploma of Applied Agronomy, Certificate IV in Wool Classing, Certificate IV in Agriculture, Certificate III in Agriculture, and Certificate II in Agriculture.

These qualifications provide them with expertise in agribusiness, agronomy, wool production, and general agricultural practices, ensuring they enter the workforce with strong, industry-ready skills.

The ceremony also recognised top-performing students.

The college presented Dux awards to the highest achievers in each qualification and honoured several students with special awards for excellence in specific areas.

These awards highlighted the graduates’ dedication, perseverance, and outstanding performance.

Longerenong Agricultural College, which has trained skilled professionals in the agricultural sector since 1889, continues strengthening its ties with the industry.

The Class of 2024 graduates now step into the workforce equipped to contribute meaningfully to Australia’s agricultural future.
