Looking for a full life
Always seeing the bad side of life, ‘Hanrahan’, in Patrick Joseph Hardigan’s poem, ‘“We’ll All Be Rooned,” could never find anything in life for which to be glad.

No one could say that about the amazing start to this season.
Local farmer, Roger Smith, says, “This is the best start for the last five years, possibly even twenty years.”
And it is hoped that this good beginning will continue into a productive harvest.
That would certainly contribute to a full and joyous experience for many.
“Life in All Its Fullness” is the theme for the annual Art Exhibition held in the September School Holidays at Hopetoun in the Powerhouse Arts Studio.
Hosted once again by the Southern Mallee Cooperative Parish, with the support of the community, Artists and Photographers will have the opportunity to showcase their talents.
With only three months to go, this is the time to prompt the artist to consider exhibiting and to reflect on the many beautiful things in the world and the good in life.
