LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Easter the greatest gift of all
May I, through this website, take the opportunity to wish readers a happy and blessed Easter?
Easter has become synonymous with holidays and enjoying time out.
Our town welcomes many visitors as they and locals relax and appreciate the town and surrounding district.
I invite all to stop and reflect on the original gift of Easter and the reason we stop.
In showing the greatest love of all time, God came as one of us to show what love looks like, in Jesus Christ offering himself on a cross to reconcile us to God and one another.
The cross, a symbol of death, is also a symbol of life – life and light forever more when love conquers death in Jesus rising again, breaking through the darkness into new life.
Such love and such great news.
May all of us see love and share it with each other.
The churches of our community invite people to come and rejoice in the greatest love story of all time at services offered – thank you for publishing details of these services each week in the paper.
