CFA units across the state are going offline to send a message to the government that they will not stand for the new Emergency Services Levy, which will impact communities already experiencing the pressures of drought, housing shortages, and rising living costs.

CFA members are hanging their uniforms on fences and signposts in an unprecedented show of strength against the government.

Trucks, vehicles, CFA, farmers and community members headed to Melbourne today to protest on the steps of parliament.
