On Saturday, March 15, the club will play host to the Victorian Production Sedan
Championship featuring four locally registered competitors, Alex Miller, Belinda Taylor, Dean Hughes and James Robinson, plus Jason Duell, a guest from South Australia and 20 of the best sedan drivers coming from all corners of the state to chase the crown of wearing the number 1 for the next 12 months.

In addition to the highly anticipated championship, the night will be well supported by the future stars of Speedway with the running of round 9 of the JSPA Junior Sedan Series with 12 of the Top Stars. It will feature the newly crowned South Australian Champion Will Fallon, who claimed the title last weekend at the Sunline Speedway in Waikerie, South Australia, plus the top three podium finishers with James Peacock and Steane Cosson all set to resume battle.

Also at the South Australian Title was local female racer Rebecca Johnstone, who did a commendable job finishing in 11th position aboard the only rear-wheel-drive car in the field.

A field of 12 New Stars will also take to the track as the less experienced kids
continue to learn their dirt racing sedan craft. In the field are local racers Archie Thomas and Jack Mills who also showed great form last weekend winning the 1200s division at the Swan Hill Speedway.

For the open-wheeled racing fans, we will have a small but quality field of four Limited Sportsman, all keen for a run. At the other end of the scale are the big rig V8 Speedway Trucks, which are also scheduled for action. If that's not enough, we will have two of the classic sections, Vintage Hot Rods and Sedans, turning back the hands of time as they bring back to life the sights, sounds, and smells of yesteryear.

On Sunday, we will see the Round 6 of the Victorian Quarter Midgets Series take place on the infield track. The day will consist of four divisions, which include a field of 10 Novice 120cc, 11 Junior Restricted 120cc, 12 Open 120cc and 12 competitors in the Open 160cc with racing starting at 11:00 AM. Sunday is free entry and we look forward to seeing you there!
