Mid-year truck deal doubles benefits

As the new financial year kicks in, it's time for business owners to take stock. Purchasing any piece of capital equipment is a significant investment and one that can have a long-term impact on the bottom line, according to Isuzu Australia Limited head of aftersales, Brett Stewart.

"When it comes to maintaining this investment - equating to considerable lifetime costs - the approach to servicing, maintenance and parts replacement can affect a working asset’s overall longevity and value," Mr Stewart said.

"Achieving efficiencies in this space means getting the best-value original equipment manufacturer (OEM) support and return on investment from programs such as Isuzu Trucks’ service agreement support packages.

“A key priority of quality aftersales support programs like these is to assist operators with managing the whole-of-life costs of a new truck.

“The Isuzu essential service agreement offers coverage for essential scheduled OEM servicing, taking the guesswork out of future maintenance costs.

“This translates to no surprises ‘on the day’ and makes repairs and maintenance budgeting more straight forward for transport reliant businesses.”

Until September 30, Isuzu Trucks will help new-truck buyers by halving their servicing costs with a six-year essentials service agreement package for the price of a three-year package when they purchase selected N Series Ready-to-Work and N Series cab-chassis models.

Equating to an additional three years of Isuzu’s essentials service agreement coverage free of charge, the arrangement would help Australian businesses to maintain uptime and realise genuine operational efficiencies, Mr Stewart said.

"Eligible N Series trucks purchased from an Isuzu dealership during the promotion period also come backed by Isuzu’s industry-leading six-year standard factory warranty - or 250,000km - covering cab chassis, and three-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty on body equipment for the Ready-to-Work models.

"The offer also includes a generous six years of 24/7 unlimited roadside assistance."

Mr Stewart said customers had "their own businesses to attend to, so we’re inviting them to relieve what can be a major point of angst: servicing and maintenance".

“With this Isuzu essential service agreement deal you have a competitive upfront cost for the business that comprehensively takes care of the servicing requirements for the first six years of ownership," he said.

“This helps to manage the unexpected and streamline operations and to ensure the absolute best return on the purchase of the vehicle.”

Mr Stewart said newly released research from Isuzu Australia's Future of Trucking Report showed a large percentage of truck owners saw benefit in a service agreement as part of their ownership package (41 per cent) and 65 per cent of truck owners preferred genuine OEM parts for replacement.

“It’s imperative that vehicles are maintained within manufacturers' requirements to make sure they’re operating safely and complying with regulations,” Mr Stewart said.

“Electing to use an authorised Isuzu dealership and genuine OEM parts will ensure you’re receiving all the associated benefits such as factory-trained technicians, reliability, longevity and peace of mind."

The N Series

Isuzu’s N Series range offers versatility and adaptability, with models spanning from 4500kg gross vehicle mass (suitable for use with a standard car licence) through to 8700kg-GVM models and takes in the pre-built Ready-to-Work range of trucks which are specified for a number of trade applications.

“Commercial and domestic industries are currently in high demand - especially tradespeople and their associated capital equipment,” Mr Stewart said.

“So, purchasing one of Australia’s most popular light-duty truck models with three years of our essentials service agreement and receiving an additional three years on top is a compelling offer to consider.”
