Despite 10 stalls cancelling in the two days prior due to weather, the event was a success, featuring 35 stalls and a vibrant atmosphere of music, laughter, and community spirit.

One of the organisers, Les Graetz, said they had enough marketgoers in town over the weekend.

"The market went well, he said.

"Enough people attended to make it a good market for the stallholders."

The Oasis Rainbow raised $410 from the raffle, which will be used for the group's upcoming event.

The Open Mic music and Ruth of Gloomy Girl's Crocheted Creations, who came all the way from Melbourne, were the highlights of the market.

"The open mic music was the highlight, as both those who attended and the stall holders enjoyed the music," Mr Graetz said.

Oasis Rainbow president Ben Gosling showcased his singing and guitar skills alongside his son, Tom, and brother, Andy.

The Oasis was full of locals and people from neighbouring towns - shopping, eating, and enjoying the market's music and vibe.

Future Oasis Rainbow events will include a community carols night in December, the Australia Day breakfast in January, and the Big Sky Festival early next year.
