Muzza is coming to Warracknabeal

A man who describes himself as an ordinary bloke, Muzza James is an experienced Aussie bushman who just loves a challenge; an extreme challenge.

Muzza James.
Muzza James.

You could call him a survivalist.

Not so ordinary!

This year, he has become known around Australia and even internationally, thanks to exposure on YouTube, TV shows and Facebook.

Brought up on the family farm east of Charlton, and now living in Bendigo, Muzza is coming to Warracknabeal later in the month to share his stories.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Warracknabeal, Muzza will entertain a crowd in the Blue Room at Taylor’s Palace Hotel, Warracknabeal, on Wednesday, July 30, from 7pm.

Muzza says his interest in taking on extreme adventures stems from his love of the bush, enjoyment of his own space and a life spent outdoors exploring, camping, fishing, hunting, trail bike riding, boating, kayaking and hiking.

He’s done many long distance hikes of 100-700km, and several survival challenges in the wilderness, enjoying the challenge of living off the land, often alone.

Along with his love of the outdoors, Muzza was motivated to take on these experiences after the premature death of his father.

As a young man he stood over his father's grave and vowed that he would not spend his life just
working hard.

He would work hard but he would pack as many fun adventures into his years just in case he was taken early too.

And that he has done!

He has indeed been bitten by a crocodile, stung by a stingray, catfish and jellyfish, chased by a koala, knocked out by a kangaroo chased by a grizzly bear and survived three cyclones.

Muzza is resourceful, resilient, curious, and a great storyteller.

You will certainly be entertained.
