Nati show returns for 2025

The region will gear up for the 133rd annual Natimuk Show and Trade Sites on Saturday, March 29, with a packed schedule of entertainment, competitions, and community celebrations.

Organisers promise a vibrant mix of livestock events, music, children’s activities and hands-on experiences for visitors of all ages.

The State Yard Dog Trials kicked off on Thursday, March 27, and run through Saturday, March 29, setting the stage for a weekend filled with rural excitement.

Sheep shearing and wool handling competitions start early at 7am, while horse events and pavilion exhibits open their gates at 9am.

Families can explore various interactive children’s activities, including face painting, rock climbing, a virtual reality grain harvester, and an animal nursery.

Wobbly Spoon and LEGO competitions bring extra excitement, while the ‘Animals of the Magical Mountains’ performance captivates young audiences at 11am and 2.30pm.

Musicians take the stage throughout the day, with performances from the Horsham Rural City Band, Natimuk Brass Band, and Horsham Development Band.

The ‘Junior Mountain Bash’ youth music competition kicks off at 3pm, giving rising stars a chance to shine.

Car enthusiasts gather for the Show and Shine display, which welcomes entries from Jory Street and runs until 4pm.

Meanwhile, the community cheers on contestants in the Master/Miss Natimuk pageant at 2pm and the pet dog competition at 1pm.

Food lovers can enjoy a Ploughman’s Lunch (12-2pm for $20), while the Natimuk Football/Netball Club serves morning and afternoon tea in the pavilion.

The family evening meal offers a warm conclusion to the day, and orders are accepted from 5.30-6pm.

The raffle draw occurs at 1.30pm, with tickets available throughout the event.

Locals and visitors alike will find something to enjoy at this year’s Natimuk Show.
