Native animals presentation a delight
People of all ages had a taste of something different during the school holidays as new Horsham wildlife business, Fair Dinkum Fauna, hosted their grand opening at the Horsham botanical gardens.

Owned by Horsham locals Michael Lloyd and Neve Lawson, Fair Dinkum Fauna offers high-quality mobile native animal interactive displays for educational presentations across western and central Victoria.
With the help of Horsham Rural City Council's youth team, attendees were able to get up close and personal with many native animals such as a the blue tongue lizard, a brush-tailed bettong, a Darwin carpet python and more.
"We had great attendance and didn’t think we would get the numbers that we got," Mr Lloyd said.
"We love spreading our knowledge to those young and old about Australian wildlife and hope to spark interest, especially for the younger generations."
He said many people were taking business cards and inquiring about community events, birthday parties and school visits.
"Everyone has been so kind and supportive and we hope to continue building up our business," he said.
