Nell Smithett golf event tee's off
Horsham Golf Club celebrate their participation of the Nell Smithett 4 Ball Aggregate Stableford competition.
WOMEN members of Horsham Golf Club recently put their strokes to the test in the Nell Smithett 4 Ball Aggregate Stableford competition.
Held on October 4, 44 members competed in the partner event with Donna O’Connor and Lil Mayer as the clear winners on 73 points.
Second place had Pauline Salter and Maggie Smith with 69 points.
This event is one of three separate events with the most prestigious event being held on the third day when selected teams from Horsham, the Wimmera and beyond compete.
All three events are normally held on separate days in the same week, however; due to anticipated wet weather, this year’s remaining two events have been postponed until November 10 and 11.
This event has been played in Horsham every year since 1970.
