Laharum defeated Pimpinio by 38 goals whilst Kalkee enjoyed a 26-goal win over the Swifts.

Both teams are expected to feature at the pointy end this season so a close game is expected.

With Jenna Bywaters and Jarrah Martin for Kalkee and Caitlin Jones-Story and Maddison Iredell in good goal shooting form, supporters should be in for an exciting clash.

Edenhope Apsley host Noradjuha Quantong in what is expected to be another tight match following great wins last week by the respective clubs.

This is a good test for the reigning premiers with their new look team and a win would be massive.

Holly Nuske was brilliant for the Bombers last week in her first match for the club and if she repeats the effort in round two, that will go a long way to deciding the match.

At North Park, Swifts will look to bounce back when they host Kaniva Leeor. Kaniva Leeor returned to A-Grade with a bang last week, following a good win over Natimuk.

It's an important game for both Natimuk and Taylors Lake when they face off at Natimuk Showgrounds. Both teams were great last week despite losing.

Natimuk is in a rebuilding phase whilst the Lakers are looking to improve and play finals, so they can't afford to go 0-2.

In the final match, Jedda Heard makes her debut as coach of Rupanyup at home against Pimpinio. They have brought in some good recruits highlighted by Victoria Taylor from Pimpinio and Maddi Morgan and Meg Cashin from Minyip-Murtoa.

After a loss last week, this is an important match for a Tigers outfit eyeing finals and Tigers coach Jayde Ellis will have them firing.
