Kinder gets new waders for digging patch
Hopetoun Kindergarten has received a wonderful new addition to its outdoor learning spaces.
Fifteen 15 pairs of waders for the children to use in the digging patch were purchased thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Parent Advisory Group.
Funds raised through the bake sale at last year’s Twilight Market helped make the resource possible.
"The waders will allow our children to get stuck into the Digging Patch, exploring, digging, investigating, and engaging in hands-on learning, whatever the weather," Educator Remy George said.
"They will provide even more opportunities for children to connect with nature, develop practical skills, and enjoy outdoor play.
"A huge thank you to the wonderful PAG and all the families who supported the Twilight Market bake sale.
"Your generosity and involvement directly contribute to creating engaging and enriching experiences for the children."
Ms George said the kindergarten couldn't wait to see the little explorers putting their new waders to good use.
