Noradjuha Quantong too much for Taylors Lake
Noradjuha Quantong appear to be just one win away from securing the men’s senior football minor premiership after they comprehensively defeated Taylors Lake on Saturday in round 16 of the Horsham District Football Netball League.
The Bombers kicked 30.15 (195) to Taylors Lake’s 4.4 (28).
Playing at home, Noradjuha Quantong asserted themselves early, racing out to a 47-8 quarter-time lead.
The Bombers continued not to let up, demonstrating why they are the league leaders with 54 and 51-point second and third quarter efforts, respectively.
The Lakers finished well with two fourth-quarter goals, but were unable to nullify the Bombers, who finished 167-point winners.
In a full-team effort, Riley Dunlop and Dylan Shelley were two of the top performers for the Bombers, while Jayden Scott and Ryan Gebert impressed for the Lakers.
Judah Hobbs led the Bombers with eight goals, with Shelley kicking six of his own, and fellow forwards Brock Orval and Jye Walter each adding four.
Ryan Gebert, Riley Hall, Jye Brown and Logan Millar each scored a goal for the Lakers.
Noradjuha Quantong now boast a 13-1 record, while Taylors Lake have two wins to their name in 2025 with two rounds to play.
