The first class was a Kokodama workshop.

This Japanese-inspired art gardening workshop saw students get dirty and creative.

From the laughter in the shed, we attempted to follow the workshop’s structure and instructions, which, if followed correctly, led to an amazing, creative, self-contained mini garden in a pot.

Using special soil, thread, and moss, leading everyone to make a unique living bauble.

After lunch, Michelle showed her talents by leading the second class, inspired by the traditional Bonsai workshop.

Following important instructions, techniques, and design guidelines, students set out to create their own interpretation of the Bonsai.

Trimming their plants and guiding the branches with wire to guide them into the unique form of Bonsai.

The community shed was a great spot for everyone to have some fun, bringing out the craft and gardening in us all. Get in touch with the house with your workshop ideas.

Huge thank you for making the workshop fun and creative.
