Nuske relishing faster netball at Noradjuha Quantong

In 2024, Holly Nuske made the switch from the Horsham Demons in the Wimmera Football Netball League to Noradjuha Quantong in the Horsham District Football Netball League and is having an electrifying season through the midcourt for the Bombers.

Nuske played in the B-Grade for the Demons in recent years and has moved up to A-grade in the HDFNL and is having a stellar season.

Nuske provides explosiveness through the midcourt, something the Bombers have lacked over recent years and has been named as one of the best in all but one of the five games they have played thus far.

Bombers coach Fiona Rowe said she is brilliant.

"Holly is having an outstanding season and we are grateful to have her," Rowe said.

"Holly is providing that explosiveness that we missed a little bit in that midcourt and it's super exciting.

"Holly has slotted in well with our team and team strategy and is a driving force between the defense and attack, she is super fit and to be able to play four full quarters of high-intensity netball is amazing."

Nuske said she is enjoying being able to play a different game of netball compared to what she has in the past.

"It's feeling really good. I have found my groove out here and the netball here suits my style with the pace I have," Nuske said.

"I'm able to get that drive with my fast pace and I wouldn't get that much in the WFNL as it's more start/stop.

"The girls have been a welcoming and supportive group and we all get along well with each other and on the court everyone gets around each other whether we win or lose."

Nuske is also having a great season with the Horsham Demons Women's Football Team, having scored two goals and been in the best in two out of the three matches they have played.
