On the beat - with Warracknabeal's Senior Constable Sam Noonan
In a joint operation with detectives from Ararat, Warracknabeal and Hopetoun Police executed a number of search warrants on June 27 in Warracknabeal.

The search warrants covered properties on Burma Avenue and Werrigar Street, and led to the recovery of a large amount of items which had been reported stolen in recent months.
A 49-year-old Warracknabeal man was arrested, and released to be charged on summons to appear in the Horsham Magistrates Court at a later date.
Among the property recovered was a camper trailer, boat trailer, and a portable saw bench, as well as a number of power tools including an angle grinder with the initials “RKB” engraved on the side.
In addition to the stolen property, police also recovered a homemade firearm, ammunition, and other prohibited weapons.
